The Office for Supply Management Services (SMS) reports to the Vice President for Financial Affairs. We provide cost-effective procurement services to our customers by listening to their needs and responding in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. We strive to create an environment that allows us to provide excellent service, to ensure that customers receive extraordinary value, utilize best practices, and to become a role model to others.
To ensure flexibility, efficiency, and a high level of customer service, the SMS is configured into three functional teams: the Customer Service Center, Systems Support, and Strategic Sourcing. The functional team responsibilities are defined in the table below.
