Commodity Codes

To better serve our customers, the Office for Supply Management Services has been organized into four Buying Teams , which have been assigned responsibility for specific commodities.  Being divided into teams allows the purchasing agents to become more knowledgeable of their assigned commodities. 

Below are commodity code lists designed to help you determine which buying team is responsible for the type of product you seek.

For a full detailed listing of commodity codes, including subcategories and commodity code numbers, see the Code Subcategories  page. You can also use the commodity code inquiry (CCI) or commodity code search (CCS) commands in the Automated Procurement and Payment System (APPS) to perform a specific commodity code number inquiry (CCI) or text keyword search (CCS).
