Radioactive Materials bought in e-SHOP can now be charged to your procurement card.All such orders will be routed to EHS for review prior to being sent to the supplier. Just another way that e-SHOP will make things a bit easier.
e-SHOP is the Cornell brand name for the HigherMarkets™ e-procurement solution developed by SciQuest™. Cornell University chose the SciQuest™ solution to streamline procurement processes and meet the growing demand from the campus to increase and leverage the preferred and strategic supplier programs at the university.
Deployed in a pilot mode in October 2006, e-SHOP gives Cornell purchasers a one-stop, Web-based "shopping cart" for ordering a full range of goods and services. e-SHOP makes it easy to shop with preferred and diverse suppliers, integrates with current (and future) financial systems, like the Automated Procurement and Payment system (APPS), routes orders to approvers and business service centers for payment, and allows for flexibility in payment methods, such as a procurement card or purchase order.
